Visionary Women for Development
Building emotionally stable, empowered, and resilient communities across Rwanda.
Who We Are
Visionary Women for Development (VWD) is a Rwandan Non-Governmental Organization founded and officially registered in May 2022.
We work to uplift vulnerable women, teen mothers, survivors of violence, adolescents, and entire families by restoring emotional stability, promoting economic empowerment, and supporting long-term sustainable development.
VWD operates in communities where emotional trauma, family conflicts, gender-based violence, malnutrition, and economic hardship affect women and children the most.
We believe that every person deserves safety, dignity, and hope—and we work to make that a reality.
